On November 22, 1963, the shocking news of John F. Kennedy’s assassination prevented awareness of the deaths of C. S. Lewis and Aldous Huxley. Peter Kreeft — long fascinated with the form of the Socratic dialogues — wrote a post-death dialogue among Kennedy, Lewis, and Huxley in his book Between Heaven and Hell. This conversation about Kreeft’s book was recorded in 1982 when Ken Myers was working for National Public Radio. It was presented on the pilot tape (Volume 1) of the Mars Hill Tapes.
