In honor of the Fifth Annual Walker Percy Weekend, held in St. Francisville, Louisiana, we present a montage of interviews. Ralph Wood, author of a recently published article about Percy’s Love in the Ruins offers an explanation for neglect of Percy’s work. From Volume 3 of our Journal, Jay Tolson (Pilgrim in the Ruins: a Life of Walker Percy) describes the existential plight at the core of Percy’s fiction. And from Volume 27, Patrick Samway (Walker Percy: A Life) explains how Percy approached writing each of his novels.
