Historian Mark Noll was a guest on Volume 81 of the Journal, talking about an essay he contributed to a book titled The Teachings of Modern Christianity on Law Politics, and Human Nature, edited by John Witte and Frank S. Alexander. In that essay, he summarized the ideas about political life present in Protestant thinkers in Western Europe and North America in the 19th and 20th centuries. Today’s Feature presents an extended interview with Dr. Noll about that essay,  a shorter version of which was first heard in 2006.
