Emma Mason

Emma Mason is Professor of English and Comparative Literary Studies at the University of Warwick, UK. She studied at the universities of Cardiff-Wales, Warwick, and Madison-Wisconsin; and was a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at Corpus Christi, Oxford. She served as Head of English and Comparative Literary Studies at Warwick from 2018-2023. Her research and teaching are focused on Christianity and literature, especially Catholic contemplation and mysticism, and religion and ecology. She is a member of the Power of the Word Project: Literature, Philosophy, TheologyThe Centre for Marian Studies and the Queen Mary Centre for Religion and Literature in English.
