Richard Weikart
Richard Weikart is Professor Emeritus of Modern European History at California State University, Stanislaus. In addition to many scholarly articles, he has published seven books dealing with the themes of social Darwinism, eugenics, racism, Hitler and Nazism, and the way that secular ideologies devalue human life. He has completed a manuscript for a book that should appear soon: A Matter of Life and Death: A History and Critique of Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide. He has appeared in eight documentaries, including Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed with Ben Stein. He has been invited to lecture in many venues in the U.S., Europe, and Africa. He is currently working on a book on the German Awakening Movement, a Christian revival in early nineteenth-century Germany.
