What might liturgy have to do with the order of Creation? In this November 2018 lecture, Gregory Wilbur explains how liturgy and liturgical time align us to the rhythms and order of Creation, forming us as disciples. Because we are created to experience order and beauty, God gives us worship and sacred time as a gift. Wilbur shows how our disordered views of time deplete and exhaust us, while God-given rhythms of rest, feasting, and meaningful work effect a “slow miracle” upon our lives as we submit to them.
