One of the guests on Volume 137 of the Journal is ethicist Gilbert Meilaender. In that interview, Meilaender talked with Ken Myers about his recent book Not by Nature but by Grace: Forming Families through Adoption. Meilaender has been a frequent guest on the Journal, discussing a number of his books including Should We Live Forever? The Ethical Ambiguities of Aging, Neither Beast Nor God: The Dignity of the Human Person, and The Way That Leads There: Augustinian Reflections on the Christian Life. This Friday Feature includes excerpts from past interviews, as well as a feature from 1994 in which Meilaender comments on the popular slogan about practicing “random acts of kindness.”
