December 17th is the date on which many Christian communities include the first of seven “O Antiphons” in their liturgies. On this Feature, Ken Myers introduces a few musical settings of today’s Antiphon, O Sapientia. Then, poet Malcolm Guite and composer J.A.C. Redford talk about their collaboration on a song cycle inspired by the O Antiphons of Advent.
