A Touchstone Partner Feature

released 3/25/2022

On March 25th, Christians celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation. It commemorates the announcement of the great mystery of the Incarnation. It is a day to marvel at the fact that (in Gilbert Meilaender’s words) “the One who from eternity is the image of the invisible God has a body.” Today’s Feature presents a reading of a 2007 Touchstone article by Meilaender that explores the significance for bioethics of the mystery of human being as body and soul, and the fact that the body is the “place of personal presence.”

This Feature is provided courtesy of Touchstone: A Journal of Mere Christianity. It is read by Ken Myers.
