The relationship between C. S. Lewis and Dorothy L. Sayers was sustained almost entirely by their correspondence. In her book Dorothy and Jack: The Transforming Friendship of Dorothy L. Sayers and C. S. Lewis, Gina Dalfonzo chronicles the encouragement and occasional spats documented in letters between two very different but nonetheless mutually sympathetic Christians. This Friday Feature also includes brief cameos by Sayers biographer Alzina Stone Dale and novelist Jill Paton Walsh, who completed the Lord Peter Wimsey novel that Sayers left unfinished at the time of her death.
