From Volume 3 of our Journal, Jay Tolson (Pilgrim in the Ruins: a Life of Walker Percy) describes the existential plight at the core of Percy’s fiction. And from Volume 27, Patrick Samway (Walker Percy: A Life) explains how Percy approached writing each of his novels.
