J. Budziszewski

J. Budziszewski (PhD Yale, 1981) is Professor of Government and Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin. A former atheist who once denied not only the reality of God but also the reality of good and evil, he reverted to Christianity in the eighties. An authority on natural law, divine law, moral character, moral self-deception, happiness, and ultimate purpose, he is also widely read on the topics of family and sexuality, religion and public life, toleration and liberty, and the unraveling of our common culture. His personal scholarly website is The Underground Thomist, which includes books, articles, bio, material for students, and a popular weekly blog.
