Garret Keizer

Garret Keizer is the author of nine books and a contributing editor of Harper’s Magazine and Virginia Quarterly Review. His essays, poems, and short stories have also appeared in Harvard Review, The Hudson Review, Lapham’s Quarterly, Mother Jones, The New Republic, The New Yorker, The New York Times, and Raritan, among others. A 2006 Guggenheim Fellow, he was born in Paterson, New Jersey, and has lived with his wife, Kathleen Keizer, in northeastern Vermont since their marriage in 1975. His website is: garretkeizer.com.
