David Setran

David Setran is Price-LeBar Professor of Christian Formation and Ministry at Wheaton College, where he teaches classes related to the history and philosophy of Christian education, Christian discipleship, and spiritual formation. He is the author of Christian Parenting: Wisdom and Perspectives from American History (Eerdmans, 2022), The College “Y:” Student Religion in the Era of Secularization (Palgrave Macmillan, 2007), and co-author with Chris Kiesling of Spiritual Formation in Emerging Adulthood: A Practical Theology for College and Young Adult Ministry (Baker Academic, 2013). He has also authored numerous articles in the history of Christian education, history of the family, philosophy of ministry, and college student development and formation.
