Philosopher of technology Albert Borgmann (1937–2023), author of Power Failure: Christianity in the Culture of Technology, believes that Christians must ask the question of how the culture of technology shapes us, both individually and as a society. Since Christianity provides a coherent view of what is good, how everything hangs together, and what the beginning, middle, and end of human life are, Christians have an obligation to discuss and discern the kind of world that technology creates and encourages. This includes how it affects our relations with one another and with Creation. This interview was originally published on Volume 63 of the Journal.
