“The church of God,” writes Rowan Williams, “is repeatedly reminded of what it actually is by the way God calls believers to take community seriously, generation after generation.” So begins the foreword to a new book, Another Life is Possible: Insights from 100 Years of Life Together. Through biographical vignettes and stunning photography, the book presents the story of the Bruderhof, a network of 26 community settlements around the world. The book was put together by Clare Stober, who talks with Ken Myers about the shape of life in a Christ-centered community, and about why and how this remarkable book has been prepared as a gift to the world.
